Effective Interpersonal Communication
Certificates
Communication: From working with a variety of people with a wide range of ages and abilities I have been able to develop a comprehensive spectrum of verbal and non-verbal communication skills. In the future I also hope to learn sign language to further develop this competency.
Project and Task Management: I am a very organized person who enjoys making lists, staying on tract and completing projects. Regardless of the setting, I stay focused and determined to compete tasks given to me.
Teamwork: I have found from both school and work that teamwork is a vital part of success. I have been able to develop my teamwork skills from working in various school-based groups as well as working in a small cohesive teams during my co-op positions with Queen Alexandra Summer Camps and Help Fill A Dream. I bring new ideas, encouragement and offer support while working in a team.
Professional Behavior: Through my work experiences I have learned the importance of professional behavior. Following policies, procedures and protocols are an important underlying aspect for success and competency development.
Continuous Learning: Being a student, I love to learn. You can never stop learning. I have learned a vast amount from life experiences, my four years of university and my 3 co-op placements, but I am excited to continue learning and see what the future has in store for me.
